A Chance to Win a Free Charlotte Stencil and the Inside Scoop on Blogger’s Day Out

Welcome to a fun-day Monday, my DIY crafters! I hope everyone had a stencil filled weekend and is ready to kick-off the start of new week.  You’re probably thinking Monday isn’t the fun day of the week.  Well now it is! And that’s because Cutting Edge Stencils is going to start the week right with an awesome stencil giveaway.

Win the new Charlotte Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils in a stencil giveaway!

But we before we get to fill you on the deets of our  awesome blogger meet-up that we had on Friday.  We were fortunate enough to host 8 super crafty, diy bloggers for a #bloggersdayout at our stencil studio.

Here we are getting to know each other.  For some it was their first time meeting each other in person although you would never know it.  These friendships had blossomed over numerous diy tweet sessions.

After a tour of the stencil studio, we settled down to get some stenciling done.  Today’s project was learning how to stencil a handbag.  It’s a simple project and for a first time stenciler it’s a nice way to dip your toe in the stencil water without taking a full wall plunge.  Like I said, redecorating an old, drab bag can be fun and easy stencil project.  Here our crafty DIY bloggers were given various craft stencils to transform their plain white totes into head-turning decorative bags! We just love when our stencils are used for creative crafts!

Getting to know the crafty DIY bloggers from a fun #bloggersdayout!

Once the creative juices were flowing, there was no stopping us!  It was time to stencil a wall.  Even for some of these bloggers, the thought of stenciling the wall can seem like a daunting task.  Confidence levels were high especially after looking at those designer looking totes. We rolled up our sleeves, grabbed our stencils essentials kit and the new Charlotte Stencil.  After all it does appear to be the breakout star of the new collection!

A super fun blogger event where crafty DIY bloggers came to Cutting Edge Stencils for a studio tour and stencil how to!

Here is an interesting tidbit:  You know how the Charlotte looks super complicated?  Well it’s not.  It’s actually very easy and it’s a great stencil for either a first time stenciler or for someone who is apprehensive about trying to stencil.

And that leads me to the exciting giveaway announcement! In honor of our successful bloggers day out and to make this Monday a fun day, we’re giving away three (3) Charlotte Stencils (value $59.95) to you, our lucky readers!
